MOCAP 2022 Week 1 - Contextual Research

This week I did my research mainly around different forms of textures and the way of presenting textures. Below are some of the reference that I found interesting and helpful towards my finial outcome.

It's amazing how gentle, smooth textures like water and other liquid types could be presented so powerful and exciting by the method of display. The way of presenting a texture could really change the feeling that you pass towards the viewer.

These mountain like lines can also represent the sound waves. I found it very interesting how lines can also present sounds.

This image reminds me of electrocardiography. The irregular line pattern looks somehow similar to the lines that we would see on the ECG machine.  After doing some research, I found out that the red line on ECG machines represent the patient's blood pressure.

Textures are just materials, it's about how you use them.
